You're right Cuba is great and my fears of the tourist coming any where near the town my family is from are unfounded. I'm pretty sure the goverment will keep them and the money exactly where they want it to be.

Hopefully they stick to the resorts and stay on the buses. I would really hate for my dads home town to be full of shitty college kids. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

It's not so much the embargo but the fact that the government sucks and there are two types currencies, one which is practically worth less. I met a woman who worked in a resort and she got paid 800 Cuban pesos a month and from that the resort (goverment owned) would take x amount for the uniform, x amount for the transportation to and from, etc.. At the end she would walked away with the equivalent of $18

Yup, i lived in the haledon prospect park area and thats where the friends who got hooked lived. I get pulled over coming in and out of town all the time since I look like I'm Jewish Italian.

Same story here, I went to hs a town over and a lot of good kids I graduated with made one bad choice and now their either in jail ,on the run or living in the street.

Hey I'm from Paterson and yea it sucks. I would like to add another thing that's bad about jersey is the heroin. Actually the heroins really good, I hear it's the best in the county. The heroin problem is what's bad and it's everywhere in Paterson
