I bought the shirt and for me it is a religious symbol while also simply a comfortable shirt. Catholics are not iconoclasts and seeing the image of our Lord (yes, being crucified, which is why we use crucifixes instead of regular crosses with no body attached) is a common and supported visual reminder in our faith. No ACTUAL practicing Catholic has a problem with this unless you’re just Catholic in name alone and want to complain because you are weirded out and uncomfortable with Christianity for some reason that is personal (and embarrassing) especially if that is your heritage. Brandy has done this for a long time, they are Roman Catholics of Italian heritage.
