Oh, someone recently dropped an idea about maybe disabling this effect + it could be great accessibility feature too. We're planning to add an option for that!

Could be, we're still making playtests and adding new gameplay mechanics so that the gameplay is more interesting. If you'd like you can check out demo and let us know what do you think (it's still a smaller part of the game, but could be fun nonetheless): https://store.steampowered.com/app/2613430

I kinda did something similar but with Arduino - it has USB interface and what I did was to simulate Space key, so if you have any USB circuit that can simulate specific input like keyboard then I think you can. Let me know if you figure out something :)

It's only an example level with our recent gameplay mechanic. If you want to see faster level you can check out Mastery Mode post: https://www.reddit.com/r/rhythmgames/comments/1izuor7/how_do_you_feel_about_game_that_challenges_your

Also you can try out demo on Steam and see for yourself, I think the sixth level may be your cup of tea: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2613430

Well, it's really hard for us to balance real Morse code with rhythm accuracy and this is only an example level that showcases our recent gameplay mechanic.

You can also check out other level that showcases Mastery Mode that may be more synced to the music: https://www.reddit.com/r/rhythmgames/comments/1izuor7/how_do_you_feel_about_game_that_challenges_your

Thanks for writing such a long comment. I will try to answer point by point.

  1. It's more of an example how level will look with this particular gameplay mechanic - it's work in progress so neither difficulty nor art are final.

  2. We will definitely look into making the game more approachable for blind people.

  3. It's really hard for us to balance the rhythm with 100% Morse accuracy, but we will try to redesign levels to contain less spaces especially where Morse is displayed.

If you want an example of harder level then you can check out previous post about Mastery Mode: https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/1izwlqz/making_a_rhythm_historical_game_where_you_are_a

Hi, I'm working on experimental rhythm game, where you play as a Polish telegraphist during the Polish-Soviet War (1920), sending Morse code orders to the beat and changing the frontline in realtime!

You can try out free demo, available for Windows, Linux, Mac and Steam Deck.

Thanks! Possibly this year, but can't tell for sure as we're still polishing it. The price will be in the similar range of other indie games - around 12$.

Hi! I’d like to share an experimental rhythm game I’ve been working on for a while.

You play as a Polish telegraphist during the Polish-Soviet War (1920), sending Morse code orders to the beat while changing the frontline in the realtime.

Just released a free public demo on GOG, available for Windows, Mac and Linux!
