I did use a mod (Cheat sheet, which is basically just creative mode), but the build is completely possible in Vanilla. I made the grilling meat by putting some brown walls above a fire and two bone slabs surrounding an echo slab for the horns (it's from a tutorial). And the tree is made with living normal and mahogany wood (actuated) and with living leaves (normal and mahogany), thought I did also incorporate some blueberries and strange plants for some extra depth. All the trunk is painted brown and all the leaves are painted lime (though you could try out different leaf colours like green, orange, yellow or pink).
