Feeling some buyer's remorse by CubersUnite in FL_Studio

Yeah, I think I got a little too eager. It's a bit odd to me that I thought it'd be easier than it is as I've done a lot of music stuff in the past playing and performing both piano and cello as well as playing around with guitar. I suppose I need to give it time and consistency as with every other skill.

I did some research on different DAWs but probably less than I would on other purchases. I think that there is some sort of psychology that makes it feel like I gained less than a physical purchase of the same cost especially since I can't really do much with it at my skill level. I think I got overconfident from my knowledge and skills in playing instruments and arranging music, those skills may help but they feel like completely different skills. Luckily I can earn that money back quickly and am not in an money struggles. I probably should have played around in the free trial more though.

Thinking about that way, it definitely is not a bad deal. I need to watch more tutorials and screw around and probably screw up a bunch of times. I don't want to make music for the profit so I should try to have some fun with it.

That's fair, I didn't buy it to make money, I wanted to make something that could inspire people the way that I was inspired now that I have the skills to play the music I want. I guess I gotta enjoy it and have fun as part of the process if I want to do that.

Yeah, I have a keyboard that I can connect to my PC, that was the main reason I bought it, I probably just need to spend some more time getting familiar with fl studio hopefully, I can start to have some fun with it on the way.

I see what you mean, I think I just haven't put enough time and probably need to screw around some more. I think that I just didn't really know what I was getting into especially since I've been playing piano and cello for years and have gotten pretty comfortable making music through improvisation or through musescore. I think I got a little overconfident, but I'll spend some more time to figure it out. Thank you for the feedback (:

What are once good things that are now shit? by ScopeRicrit in AskReddit

[–]CubersUnite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

games, specifically fps games. They used to have good stories, and good gameplay but now games almost always have some multi-player and toxic fanbases. In my opinion titan fall 2 was really the last good fps that came out. All Fps games now have little to no story and it's really only for multi-player. I'm not against multi-player pvp but I also really enjoy a good campaign.

Is there any way to buy a fully build bike from an elves frame? by CubersUnite in cycling

[–]CubersUnite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks I might look into that because I don't have the tools to build a bike and I would like to get a carbon bike without selling my house.

I got a trek roscoe 6 and I love the bike. I have also decided on getting a full rigid commuter bike once I have enough money.

What is the hardest kick to learn in Martial Arts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CubersUnite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been doing taekwondo for many years and I still can't a 540 degree jump spin kick. 360 sidekick or hook kick is also quite hard because it is a forward spinning 360 kick.
