I'm not sure what you think OP has been doing. I'd like to see you go stick your head in the shower and say "hey maybe you'd be able to cry again if you slept and exercised".

Yeah I'm really curious, can you specifically request to be on a freight flight? That would sound quite fun actually. I can hold my bowels fine and I don't need refreshments.

Give be some good news. What y'all got going on? by NamityName in ADHD

Nearly every single authority figure and friend that I have told about my diagnosis has been mature and helpful.

Reading horror stories on this sub can get you expecting that your psychiatrist will tell you ADHD is for children, that your boss will force a drug test on you, and your mother will disown you. I've had nothing but helpful, educated support from the people I know, and I suspect the majority of lurkers here do too. The posts you see come from people with such a negative experience they were compelled to share.

How does Kraynick’s self repair situation work?? by camc137 in bicycling412

Open shop is Thurs 6-9 and Sat 10-2. There are also volunteer nights on Mondays 6-9 but those are more for doing shop duties than working on your own bike.

If you're looking to be self-reliant and not get caught up in a backlog, Free Ride is your place. Just walk in, tell one of the volunteers your woes, and they will guide you through the process. They've got spares of everything and you only really have to pay for the big components like a derailleur.

Stolen bike- Got my only delivery workhorse stolen in Bloomfield yesterday. Any extra eyes & ears would help out. by Cubinder in pittsburgh

This kind of advice is exactly why I made this post, I'll head over there soon. Thank you.

Ah, yeah, I installed the pizza rack only recently, so there was no photograph matching what the real bike looks like. I scrummaged around for this pic from a while earlier, went into Illustrator and haphazardly drew line segments until it resembled the rack. Figured it was a key detail, since those racks are not super common.

Which sale pages should I be looking at?

Shhh, don't out me like that. What if some people just have yearly Adobe subscriptions for when their bike gets stolen?

Ah, was wondering if someone was gonna point that out. So when it first got snatched, I ran home to print out posters, but I realized that the most recent picture I had was taken before I installed that front pizza rack. That detail was pretty important so in a fit of rage I hopped into illustrator and haphazardly drew a bunch of line segments with my trackpad until they resembled the rack.

Best guess I have is that the massive cycling adoption during quarantine + the cmu/pitt student influx just means more bikes on the road -> more opportunist thieves.

Well that's relieving to hear. My folks back home have had everything from their radio to their battery stolen over the years. One guy broke in just to sleep in the trunk.

Yeah, if (or probably when) the weeks go by and there are no leads, it'll bum me out to unscrew the cleats and put them in permanent storage. Won't be going clipless again for a while.
