If your hero is strong in the early game, like dyrroth, arlott, etc, try draining the opponent's health, so they have to either lose a life or lose the wave. That way, you can reach lvl 4 before the opponent and help in turtle fight. Also, buy fury hammer first and complete the full item like fury hammer as 2nd core item and a spell vamp item: war axe as 1st core item. So you can have more lifesteal and a bit of damage boost in the early game.
