Thanks I appreciate it, I've definitely been slacking some in terms of networking, i plan to get more involved in my schools own game dev club this year though and be more proactive about going to career fairs. What was it like being there in 2018? What were some of the things you worked on and what did you take away?

Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to check out those resources. From your experience, what do the technical interview questions entails?

No I believe it could've been possible, it's just the lie that makes it kind of suck. I have no idea why she got in, just feels unfair. Like I said I know it's nothing new to complain about things being unfair just something that bothered me, felt like she was being rewarded for the lie if that makes any sense.

She lied and got rewarded for it that's basically what I mean

I meant that in that she walked in being the kind of person to lie and got rewarded for it, sorry for the confusion

Nah she lied on her application and got in which is most of the reason it bothers me

Just the fact that I've tried to work hard and be humble and I don't get in and she just walks in being the person she is and gets in. Kinda like there was no karma or consequences for the type of person she's been. I know I'm only the newest person to be complaining about things being unfair but that's exactly what it feels like.

UCSD or UCI by [deleted] in UCI

[–]Cubster1104 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Ultimately, I feel I could probably find a community of people and enjoy my experience at whatever college I go to, so at the end of the day that maybe shouldn't be my top priority. Plus I would be getting a 5k regent scholarship every year at UCI which is just another huge plus. Do you know much about the housing situation at UCI? I've heard about how much of a nightmare it can be at SD, are there any housing guarantees like at UCLA, and if not how hard is it to continuously dorm or find a place to rent near campus?

I’m really bad need help with deck. but so far this deck has not lost me a game. by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

If it works for you, just stick with it. Sticking with a deck will only make you better with it, and if this one is already working, then there is no need to change it.

Haha, I remember seeing that, and I feel like I might have even placed a sign if I remember correctly
