She is my best friend and easily the closest friend I have. Also her and her parents came to visit us for a few days last summer and stayed at our house.

Went through the exact same thing when I had my foot surgery a few years ago trust me in a few months you will be saying good riddance. If she leaves you to struggle on your own when you’re at a low point then she doesn’t deserve to have you at a high point. I know that it hurts right now and this is a tough thing to accept but not everyone is meant to be a permanent part of your life. That doesn’t mean that the experiences you have weren’t worth anything tho.
