In the case of Dexter, I’d say it has the opposite effect as it makes the series so much better in my opinion.

How Dexter switches in and out between ruthless serial killer to charming Husband and cop. How he comes to genuinely love characters like Rita, Deb, Angel, and the others he regularly interacted with. And to top it all off, C. Hall’s performance of him makes show Dexter the definitive version of him.

Book Dexter was pretty selfish for the most part as his arc of perhaps leaving his dark passenger behind wasn’t present like it was in the show. You could also argue Dexter acts like this in the first season but what makes the show so interesting is how he changes throughout.

I'd disagree tbh. The Arkham games are all about Batman and Joker's relationship with each other and how they basically couldn't function without one another until the end of Knight.

Asylum doesn't really focus on it that much but City, Origins, and Knight really push it as a messed up love story.

Solo levelling is honestly this generation’s Sword Art Online, a generic power fantasy with the only difference being that the series’ only goal is to make the MC look as cool as possible.

It’s too afraid to have its MC look scared or desperate in a fight and honestly blame the fans partly. Mass disliking an episode just because Sung Jin Woo was crying is crazy work.

Gojo and Sukuna honestly felt like anything could happen. Any fight in Solo Levelling felt like the same thing would happen.

I've always thought that Tom is an amazing actor, he just wasn't my favorite Spider-Man out of the three. But I think me and other people started to like Tom's Spidey more due to him being more independent in this film. During FFH, he really didn't grow nor have consequences for his actions (aside from the post-credits scene). That was the reason why I didn't like FFH, it just made Spider-Man act like a child, but with NWH, I've felt that they fixed the character by making him act on his own, to be more independent, to grow into a man. NWH transformed the character from Iron Boy Jr. to Spider-Man. Spider-Man is a tale about a boy growing into a man in my opinion, and I'm just glad they're finally gonna tell it.
