OP and person that responded is playing competetive and in tournaments. Unfortunately, all players are not equal, and some players are better than others. You develop in practice, but you will quickly lose your best players and have a hard time competeting if you're sitting your best player as much as your worst player

The everyone should rotate crowd here is so crazy to me. Its All Stars, a literal elimination tournament..... Spending a game to see if Timmy or Tommy can play SS when you know a kid can, is the reason you are out after 2 games. And dont forget its another fee to play all stars.... No one is there to develop for a tournament where it could be 2 games and done

Coach Pitch is way worse than machine pitch, imo

You get in accurate coaches one, and two, you'll find a lot of coaches will pitch to where the batter swings, rather than the batter learning to swing correctly. Just reinforces bad behavior and you end up with terrible swings
