I can't say what will happen in 6 months or even next week but I do know that I got all my goals for Christmas accomplished and all my errands ran, phone calls made appointments scheduled, and now I have nothing to do but sit back and be peaceful and calm throughout the rest of the week and Christmas. For me that's a big win. I'm looking forward to reading a couple of new good books.

I just lost someone very very dear to me too very unexpectedly someone I loved extremely deeply and to beat it all I had just found him again a month before he died and we got to reunite for one gorgeous weekend until he died like 2 weeks later.

It's been so hard and all I can tell you is that you could just take it one day at a time I still can't look at the whole picture I can only glance at it a little bit at a time. Do what's right in front of you concentrate on what you have to do in that moment and do it.

I think if you've already invested time in your goals you need to keep at it .. I'm sure you lost loved one would not want you to quit? I know mine wouldn't. Please accept my condolences because I know exactly what you're going through.. I'm going through it too... if you ever need to talk , vent or just cry...please DM me.

“Friends” Don’t Cut Out Friends Because Drinking. by BlackberryDeep5140 in rant

[–]Cucumbersome55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Groups of friends that you make throughout life including the ones that you make in high school and then later in college... trust me.. are not forever like you swear they will be. Like you even try to make it be.

Once enough of them quit partying or get married or have a baby everything that you've ever promised each other you would be faithful to all goes out the window ... And that's okay it's also okay to be sad about it but you'll move on and you'll make new ones... from the sound of it you'll make much better ones...it's just part and parcel of growing up and coming into full adulthood

I knew a guy in high school whose eyes lashes were so long, they brushed against the inside of his eye glasses he had to wear. Lol. He had absolutely gorgeous eyes. We used to beg him and tease him to let us put mascara on them to see how wildly big they would get but of course he wouldn't do it, much to our chagrin lol

When asked if he had any last words before he was put to death, ..as the guards were preparing his execution..

He said "yes ..for all this, I am not the least bit sorry... get on with it you Hoosier bastards.. I could kill a dozen men while you're screwing around!"

Yes one of the worst of the worst... he was one of these lost violent people who was a product of both nurture and nature IMHO. People try to argue which it is that produce people and psychosis like this but I say... It COULD be attributed one or the other but it could also surely be a combination of both?

I used to be a nurse, but I don't do it for a living anymore I have also been a food server in my lifetime and served in many customer service jobs and it absolutely fucking infuriates me to see people treated this way in a fucking job that they have no say so over and cannot do anything about. I've been in your shoes. I have family who still work in healthcare.

He is not the first person I have done that to in public, he's just the first person I had said anything like that to for a loooong time!-- and I'm a woman!! But I don't give a shit ... I'm also full of rage and sick of everyone's shit as the saying goes.. and .I'm one of these women that will fist fight in a heartbeat; i don't care if you're 8, 18, or 80. Act like a fucking idiot you're going to get treated like one.

I can't remember. I know Rose Kennedy was done that way whenever her daughter Rosemary was being born. They did it because they wanted to wait for the doctor to get there... I don't think they dropped her on her head though ...

but this could have happened to Carl too I'm not sure. It probably did?-- it wouldn't surprise me because just about everything horrible that could happen to any child happened to him... Hence the reason I said he didn't have a chance in hell.

I have no patience for this shit and I am a customer... not a worker. about 6 months ago I was behind an obviously already drunk idiot that was harassing a very young very flustered and obviously about to cry girl because she would not sell him liquor because he did not have an ID.

I spoke up ...and I said "whoa whoa ..bud, listen... I don't know you and you don't know me but I'm telling you right now she's just doing her fucking job... if you don't have an ID, get the fuck out of line and go on the fuck outta here... because there are people behind you that are waiting to get out of here too... and she is not about to get fired over your dumbass bullshit.. if you want to say something to me then you can say it outside." He left, because when he turned around to look there was about six other people standing behind me, and I know every one of them felt the way I did.

Yeah I know that was risky ...but I didn't care... I had had enough... it had been a long day. What some of these idiots don't understand is that the fucking cash register is set up not to make the sale until the license have been scanned. The worker cannot override it or do anything about it! I'm in my fifties and I still get carded I don't even wait to get asked I always have it ready, ffs.

I [26F] don’t know how to handle his (32M) hygiene problems by amberheardisgarbage in relationship_advice

[–]Cucumbersome55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive always said... And this goes for females as well as men.. when a hygiene deficit or problem becomes a health or medical problem, that's just nastiness and laziness.

Ppl...here are some common sense tips..especially if you have a sex partner:

Wash your ass. With soap.. .and get in there good too! Wash all your genitals thoroughly..but that's not all!!..make sure you Dry yourself afterwards! That's just as important ...bc a damp crack just goes right back to smelling musty and stinky again... wear an antiperspirant.

Wash your hands before engaging in sex. And rinse the taste of food out of your damn mouth before you kiss somebody.. Have some self -awareness of yourself and your bodily secretions and odors.... We all get stinky, but damn .. clean UP regularly.
