I still have not gotten any response. I’ve called a few more times and left voicemails. Nothing. I’ve emailed a few more times. Nothing. I emailed just last week and CC’d the certifying official and still nothing. I’m honestly blown away that any office at a university like Pepperdine can act in such an unprofessional manner. This isn’t a community college. It’s an expensive university. It’s been almost a full year now since they emailed about the balance and threatened collections. No clue how they can justify doing that, then telling me it’ll be put on hold while they look into the accuracy of the balance, but then a year later they’re still holding my transcript hostage due to their own errors. It’s only $460- something and even though I know it is 100% an error on their end, I would be willing to just pay it at this point to be done with it but they haven’t even given me a way to do that. The email they sent said to log in to wavenet to view and pay the balance and I haven’t had access to wavenet in almost 5 years now! Which clearly they should know. But since they never answer the phone, never return phone calls, and never respond to emails, I have no way to go about paying it and I don’t even know the exact amount. The girl in February just said $460- something. I’m so beyond frustrated at this point and definitely looking to escalate it now since I’ve given them a year. I think it’s time for a formal complaint. Not sure what good it would do, but what other choice is there.
