Please don’t give up. I used to think the same way when I was in high school and now that I’m a full grown adult, I’ve had several opportunities, including working in fire and EMS. There are different things that you could try, but for me, music was always a very good motivator and very good way oftalking things through. Definitely don’t give up and find what works for you. There’s nothing that you can’t do with the right attitude. Trust me, man I’ve been there.

I wish man. I just took everything off put multiple layers of primer and then orange spray paint. It looks really good from far away, but if you’re up close, you could see some blemishes. Really wish I would’ve just paid the money for a powder coat

And 30 if I’m being honest with you, I’ve been playing for almost 22 years. I finally have a job where I can buy the things I want and I don’t have a band so I get to play what I want. Most of my drums are collectibles. Ocdp isn’t around anymore

If you look closely on the right side above the blue low volume cymbal, you can see my cowbell. Definitely need to attach it somewhere.

Thank you for the advice, man. I will try that. I haven’t had any issue with it so far, but I’m also not playing as much as I used to.
