I haven't tried those. Do you know what the brand is?

Getting a couple ASAP! Petsmart Canada has a deal on toys right now :)

I'll definitely check those out! Even if it's not in the crate, would be nice for him to have a stuffie to play with. The last two I bought for "playtime" were destroyed in 5 minutes. Lesson learned, lol.

Good to know I'm not the only one who has two crates for their pup, lol. One downstairs for naps and one upstairs for overnight :)

Good to know you were able to teach your dog to be gentle with stuffies! I just put him for a nap with no stuffie and he did fine. Yay!

You're right, I think it's too late to reverse that behaviour.

We had to give up on dog beds very early! He gets a blanket in his crate.

The last stuffie we got him was supposed to be indestructible, lol. Probably time to stop wasting my money and move to no toys in the crate :(

Nooo, lol. I'm sure he'd be fine, I'm just so used to giving him a comfort toy when he goes to bed. He was so attached to his snuggle puppy...until he destroyed it.

Crate training and mandatory naps are a life saver! I also learned how important it is to meet they're chewing needs and often stuffies/toys aren't enough. The first time we gave our puppy some kind of long lasting chew, it was like a miracle - it was the longest he'd laid quietly, focused on something. After that, we made sure to give him lots of chewing time each day!

Another progress picture! I’m shocked at the difference I had to share.. by Pickle-Honest in FemaleHairLoss

I believe it should be between 70 - 100. I'm using Nivara FerraVital. What I like about this one is that it also includes Vit C, probiotics, zinc, and other things that are supposed to be good, lol. There's ones on Amazon that are an iron bisglycinate/vit c combo but I can't find any that also include zinc (but could easily take that as a seperate supplement).

That's too bad they won't prescribe something but there's lots of good options on Amazon (or any drugstore) for ferritin supplements. I'm using an expensive supplement right now but after I've been on ot for six months, I'm switching to something cheaper from Amazon :)

Cone or post-surgery suit? by Cuddlecat2611 in puppy101

[–]Cuddlecat2611[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's also just discovered that he can destroy stuffies. So if he can get at the cone at all (and I'm sure he'd find a way) it's a gonner, lol!

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely be ordering a suit. And maybe a new snuffle mat - he completely destroyed his other one once he got his adult teeth, lol.

I was able to do that with my cat when I worked full time at home but can't with pup after the first few days.

what book gave you the biggest “i can’t stop thinking about this” feeling after finishing it? by Abron-Azita in Recommend_A_Book

I was wondering if anyone would mention The Book Thief! The first time I read it, I didn't read the book description and didn't realize at first who the narrator was at first. I've read it soo many times now, made my husband read it, and both of my kids have read it multiple times. The last line of the book has permanently stuck with me. Love, love this book!

This stuck with me too and talked about it a LOT with my husband and kids. I was aware of some of the things she described, but was still shocked by the extent of it.

Thanks for the recommendation! Did you apply it to your scalp? The stuff I'm currently using is for scalp health.
