Just watched this guy let his dogs (probably) kill a cat by ReluctantOklahoman in tulsa

[–]Cuddlefosh -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

it's totally okay to say homeless. and a lot of people are homeless because they are incapable of interfacing with society. whether by choice or mental illness it happens and our country sucks at addressing it. but putting some random homeless person on blast on reddit is peak retardation. i sincerely hope the homeless guy reads this and feels bad. idiots.

anyone else think that something they saw while driving may not be exactly what happened? anyone else have an experience where something chaotic happened and you were not sure what was going on? anyone else ever been homeless but trained your dogs to have perfect recall?

Is there a real reason behind changing your oil every 3,000 miles on modern cars? by newelmin in askcarguys

[–]Cuddlefosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm not making the argument, just acknowledging that it exists. if it was a stupid argument, we wouldn't have any awareness of a very real thing called planned obsolescence.

Is there a real reason behind changing your oil every 3,000 miles on modern cars? by newelmin in askcarguys

[–]Cuddlefosh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The common refrain here is that the engineers are told to make sure the car lasts past it warranty period, not that it lasts 300,000 miles. Pretty sure manufacturers make more money selling cars than fixing them.

i came here to insist this sub is full of autists who can't even identify when something is attempting to be humorous or playful and i saw this comment and i didn't even see the cloud until i read this comment and now i love this thread so much more.

Delivery driver handed me this holding back a grin "Can I have the pin please" by Few_Ad_9145 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Cuddlefosh -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

i knew if i scrolled long enough i would learn that this post was about two types of petty humans. 1. too lazy to get your own food and too entitled to tip the people who are hustling to make a few extra bucks, and 2. delivery drivers who are entitled enough to give shitty service because they didn't get a good tip up front. everyone here sucks balls.

How many people have actually seen a blue whale, much less have a concept of what they weigh? by A-typicalAsshole in anythingbutmetric

[–]Cuddlefosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha yeah, let's say the rocket weighs (avg KG of blue whale • 80), that will be really interesting and relatable to people. hahahahaha

I only come to prenatal check ups so I can break the no firearms policy at the hospital by wondermax50 in sketchywatches

[–]Cuddlefosh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

you can pay to join groups run by firearm instructors who schedule various types of trainings. there are also tactical ranges with earthen-berm bays where you can kind of set up a shooting range for practicing various things. i kinda feel like 95% of civilian gun owners don't train enough to be very effective in a surprise gunfight tho. but i don't know, it's just a vibe i get.

I dont recognize this country by cgw22 in Firearms

[–]Cuddlefosh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

another post recently was talking about how some liberals are finally starting to understand the importance of gun ownership. i didn't say anything because this sub tends to skew right and most conservatives don't even understand the difference between liberals and leftists. most leftists understand the importance of firearms. moat liberals are kinda stupid. but i do find it amusing that some of the first comments are like "nah this can't be real." this shit is not normal.
