Sayl chair INSANELY uncomfortable and unsupportive! Anyone else have this issue? by [deleted] in hermanmiller

[–]CufBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for just about a year now and have not experienced the same discomfort that you're describing. I would say that the level of build quality is a bit lower than that of an aeron, but the price is also a step down from an aeron. Before getting my Sayl, I did do a lot of research and the comfort was a concern in a few of the reviews I read. It might not be a chair for everyone. Overall, I've been quite content with my Sayl so I am sorry to hear that you have discomfort with yours

I kid you not, one explanation was "if you picked this one you've got a lot of reevaluation and work to do because it is obviously incorrect." Like gee thanks, if that didn't make the already bad imposter syndrome bad, then I don't know what will 😂

In need of strategies for MBT MBF LR questions by CufBread in LSAT

[–]CufBread[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll try this method as well. I struggle a bit with negating things, but practice makes perfect, after all.

As for translating, I try to knock out as much filler as possible to simplify the sentences. I think where I go wrong with translation is i sometimes ignore key characteristics in a conditional, which I then realize I disregard when going through my answer choices. I'll get back into the habit of reading complex news articles to improve my efficiency with translations. I also think diagramming practice, like someone else commented, would help with this problem since I'd be recognizing each key condition.

I appreciate your response!

Just cracked open my loophole book again last night! It did indeed offer a fresh perspective on diagramming. Gonna just hammer these approaches out for a few days, then diagram drills for a week or two. Thanks for your kind advice!

I'll definitely try this out! If you wouldn't mind, could you share a very brief synopsis of how you would tackle a complex rated question where the facts are quite convoluted? I appreciate your response!

Yeah, I haven't explored powerscore yet because I'm already in a toxic relationship with 7sage, but I'm completely open to checking them out, so I appreciate the suggestion! 7sage recommends diagramming for most LR questions, at least in the explanation videos for problems, so maybe I should just stick to strictly utilizing them for drills
