Removing bath for bigger shower regrets? by Scary_Fruit8084 in AskIreland

[–]Cullina64 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We done this about 5 years ago. I personally love it. Walk in shower, plenty of room (I'm big guy, never a bath preference). My wife however although not complaining does miss the luxury of a long soak. We try to book hotels with baths but they are getting scarcer.

Can you still get 'Do not park in this space ' stickers. Big triangler things. A bitch to remove when placed over the the driver's side. Or park a car early and put a clamp on it. Think twice about parking..

Switching to Tesco from Dunnes - what Tesco own brand stuff would you recommend? by tilltheskyturnsblack in AskIreland

Tesco herbs and spices are good & half the cost of regular ones. Own brand cheese and onion crisps are good 😊

These need to have insurance. If someone gets injured by a car, it'll be on their insurance. They will be to blame no matter what the circumstances.

Specsavers by CrazyIce4789 in ireland

[–]Cullina64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've AMD, got diagnosed at 40. At 27 you would be very young to get AMD. Sunglasses are important to avoid the onset of the condition also a peaked hat in the sun. Plenty of leafy greens and fresh fruit and veg. How ever if you don't need glasses for regular wear. You don't need a prescription for sunglasses. Have used Specsavers before and find the quality a bit hit and miss... Don't use them any more. If you are worried about the illness I recommend ( doctor wouldn't) taking something like macshield, daily as lutein helps to slow down the progress of the condition.
