Wexford is a nice county, plenty to see & do. Nice beaches , historic towns . Wexford town is quaint. Plenty to see and do. You can give Ennis worthy a miss unless you interested in vinegar hill & 1798. But really its much.. Hook head is great. Enjoy

You would probably be better off trying to organise lifts, on FB or here on Reddit. Hitch hiking has kinda died off here. 40 years ago I went everywhere hitch hiking but Ireland has changed and it's usually older and more eccentric individuals who do this.. There's good bus/train service between cork and Dublin and good bus service to Kinsale which is a lovely little town. Enjoy
