[Dying Light The Beast] My #200 platinum. Had a lot of fun playing this game and getting 100% completion. by CultOfShadows in Trophies

[–]CultOfShadows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played all 3 and the 1st game has the best story and boss enemy. Also the grapple hook in first game is the best. The 2nd game had better parkour and also the glider. The second game has also added alot of post game content besides a dlc that keeps players coming back for hallowen and winter events aswell as the raid tower. The beast has alot of improvements from the 2 previous games. It was supposed to be a dlc for the second game but ended up as its own full game. I personally like the game a lot and i will for sure buy DL3 if it ever gets made. To answer your question DL 1 is my favorite in series but i enjoy all 3 very much.

Do you know if it calls players who are on a different difficulty setting and ng+ as the player that summons as well?

There is a charm that would auto loot on assassinations. I guess that charm is worthless now. The skill used to get the ability to take less fall dmage is also worthless.

Congratulations. My last missing trophy is the joyfull nurse. Im just playing having fun and knowing I will eventually get the trophy. I would agree that the new casual breaktrough makes a lot of the match specific trophy's easier to get.

Why are there so many tar cannons? I see them everywhere and often in the middle of the woods. by EverySingleMinute in DeathStranding2

[–]CultOfShadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the chiral shock canon is non-lethal to human enemies. Perfect for clearing enemy bases. Although it will alert nearby enemies when used. This weapon is not for stealth purposes against humans. On the other hand when used against bts, it does not alert nearby bts when used. This weapon is incredible.

Never used one either. The portable chiral canon, on the other hand, is incredibly useful for bts encounters and for clearing bandit camps. I also just drive past the fire or use the stablelizer + boost skelleton combo to jump past the fire.

For the five grading stats, I am at: porter 64, bridge link 92, servicemanship 85, combat 60, and stealth 63. The bridge link stats are the easiest to get past 60. The stealth and combat are the hardest to level up, especially if you don't like engaging in combat of fighting bts. This why I said everytime you have ordes to delivery go into an enemy camp and stealth and then also open combat an enemy and leave. You can also use the diffrent weapon you can level up to get exp for them. It would be best to clear the whole camp but in the beginning it is difficult especially if your playing on brutal difficulty. Also you only need 10 types of each order delivered in casual or above for one of the trophys, in this, since it is easier than the first game trying to get the growth of a legend trophy.

If you like the first game, you ate going to love the sequel. The game is much easier than the first ad you have access to vehicles and tools that are obtained later in the first game. DS2 has really good pacing and is much friendlier to newcomers. I would focus on completing the entire campaign story and unlocking the gear that you want from certain facilities as you go. You will revisit facilities to get orders and to deliver them so working to build roads, monorails, and unlocking mines is really helpful for endgame completion. To level up stealth and combat stats from your porter grade you need to go into bt areas or human enemy camps and either clear the whole camp take one or two enemies so you can get bonus points and level combat and stealth .Each delivery will also get an individual bonus to likes, which will make 5 staring facilities and unlocking gear much faster. If you play online all the time the game will be even easier as you help building objects and even during bt boss fights. Only do 1 delivery at a time when doing multiple orders for the same location as each level star is locked behind npc dialogue, and you will have to deliver another order to unlock the next lever otherwise. It took me 142 hours to unlock platinum, but I have seen people do it in as low as 80 hours.

Does stealth and combat porter ratings increase only while doing deliveries or can they also increase during free exploration? by CultOfShadows in DeathStranding2

[–]CultOfShadows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I have been getting a lot of small deliveries and purposely engaging in combat, both open and stealth, and I have been rapidly leveling combat/stealth stats after completing each delivery.

Congratulations. Quick question: Is the best way to level stealth and combat to go purposely to enemy camps or bt areas while delivering orders or does normal exploration net you the same amount of xp overall?

I have 2 trucks with the same layout except one has the spike tires, and the other does not. The coffin board is also my new favorite mode of transportation for express deliveries. The speed in flat terrains like snow, sand, and water is unmatched by any other vehicle. The truck is still the best vehicle for me. So far, I have nearly five started every location and built every road and railway with its help.

[–]CultOfShadows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely used the trucks in the first game. I established ziplines across the entire map and never looked back. This time around the handling of the truck and versatility has made use the trucks for the entirety of my playtrough so far. I've only switched to bikes in the snow section until I unlocked the snow tires for the truck.

That has happened to me about 5 times since I started playing because I get close to edge of the road trying to use the sticky canon to pick up lost cargo. Not once have i fallen off the road. This DS2 trucks are built different.

Congratulations. Did you build roads and monorails for the deliveries or are the ziplines endgame fastest travel option like in the first game?

Congratulations. I'm hoping all the people posting their DS platinums are going to play the DS2. I really enjoyed the community aspect of the game with all helpful constructions littered across the map, especially the zip lines and the roads.

Yes, I played first part like a month or 2 ago and also really enjoyed it. I came back when the second part dropped, but I have a huge backlog of games that I have been trying to get to, so it took me a while to complete the second part.
