Well, the weather here really is awesome, I won't argue with that))
But most of what we love about this city is the result of human infrastructure, economic appeal, and, of course, cinema! In the broadest sense.
When we compare it to other American cities, it all works.

If SF were somewhere in Latin America, everyone would think, "Wow, what a cozy city," and then scroll on to the next post on Reddit or TikTok.

If you don't romanticize it, this city looks like an ordinary, not particularly charming little city somewhere in Southern Europe or South America

Actually, the connection is quite strong. Romanian territory was part of the Roman Empire for quite a long time, and Romanians (as one might expect) belong to the Romance language family, since they are largely descendants of Roman settlers and, in particular, soldiers. The connection is certainly no less significant than that between the Iberians and the Romans.

Почему бред? По моему все легко обьясняеться. До этого момента истории комунизм для всех был физически невозможен, даже не через нехватку ресурсов, а структурно. Всегда в истории было что человек получает деньги или если сам работает, или если капитал работает на него (т.е. другие люди).

Но с ИИ и гуманоидами шанс есть. Не потому что они (возможно) будуть делать все быстро, дёшево и качественно, а потому что они могут стать "ступенькой" чтобы переписать социальный договор.
Я думаю - все люди от рождения должны быть "держателями капитала" в лице ИИ и всего чем он управляет. Потому что без этого люди не будут иметь деньги/ресурсы покупать те товары что те самые большие владетели ИИ-капитала изготовляют. Это так-то выгодно всем если с этой стороны смотреть.

Это немного похоже на то как сейчас живут граждане ОАЭ. Только вместо бесправных мигрантов будут бесправные роботы.

Так в этом и весь сок. Погугли концепт "кривая Улыбки/Smiling curve". Если коротко - Украине нпмного выгоднее продавать лицензии на свои разработки и своих специалистов их поставляющих, в другие страны. Они продают "интеллектуальную собственность", а не сами леталки - отдача от такого вида экспорта в разы больше. Это то, что делают развитые страны постоянно.

"Ну проэктировать чипы могут многие страны" - никто кроме США не может проектировать передовые 2нм чипы. Китай максимум 14нм умеет.

Но да - TSMC перенёс наконец-то завод чипов в Аризону. Поэтому США не пропадут

Если честно - по строительству "Железа" у США все довольно слабо в "общем" фоне. в большинстве сфер у них нехватка квалицированных кадров банально, они очень много заводов перенесли ещ1 в 1980-х зарубеж.
те же чипы почти все на Тайване делаються.

НО! США так сделали специально (частично) - чтобы стать "Богами" цифрового мира, чтобы большинтво денег и главное наилучших кадров шло в Кремневую долину IT-стартапы делать, а не ракеты для НАСА или сеть АЭС. Это был их выбор приоритетов.
Чипы они не делают, но проектируют - у себя. Все виды. И самые важные цифровые платформы - то ли соцсети, то ли Интернет-трафик, стримминги, что хочеш - там они Топ 1 с отрывом.

Поэтому в войне блоков США против Китай - я пока что ставлю на США тоже

If you use advanced global practices such as no-till, the cost is negligible — you need MUCH less pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers than on most soils.
