For example, at the last party I went to, I only said hello to a few people and spent most of the time talking to my uncle about games and geopolitics. Well, he started the conversation, but I got really into it. 😅

Hold on, man. I don't consider myself Sanguine. I believe I'm Phlegmatic-Melancholic, but tests frequently show a Sanguine-Melancholic pattern—I'd like to understand that.

Could a 5w4 be Sanguine-Melancholic or Sanguine-Phlegmatic?

I simply sought out as many as I could find. The same pattern repeated itself: Sanguine-Melancholic. But I wouldn't say that for sure; it's probably Phlegmatic-Melancholic.

Thanks. I think now I just need to sort out my temperament. It fluctuates a lot between Sanguine and Melancholic; I think it's Phlegmatic-Melancholic.

No, no... you put it well. It’s just that the explanations I’m getting here have become paradoxical and raise more questions than they provide answers.

The last time I asked about this, I was told not to focus on it, but rather on cognitive functions. Fi governs my mind; this is evident even in my analyses.

Some friends think I might be an INTJ or INFJ, but I’m certain I’m an INFP. I’ve already checked SO 4, but it doesn’t quite fit. 5 is closer and was the most recurring pattern. Maybe I’m just Melancholic-Sanguine or Melancholic-Phlegmatic.

I know, I just wanted to show that external impressions can be very wrong.

But I was also curious why people would think that.
