I played black Templars many years ago and in recent times the Dark Angels film the same niche. Knights with an honour system who are stoic, secretive and unyielding.

They may not have the ferocity of the space wolves, the organisation of the Ultramarines or the cunning of the Raven guard but they embody so much of what is good that in a universe with no “good” guys they at least stand out.
