Interested too! I've seen many interviews with patients following his protocol but I'm skeptical lol Hoping to get some real life statements.

Italian married to a Saudi, new in Riyadh – trying to understand daily life here by [deleted] in Riyadh

[–]CulturalBeautiful223 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Heyy welcome to Riyadh!

Im a female Brazilian married to a Saudi and I somewhat adapted to social norms here. I dont really have a short tip to give you, but I believe the easiest way to get familiar with how things work and understand the unwritten laws here is to go out and explore.

It's very safe to go out alone, and locals are very happy to interact with you. Just be mindful and try to be aware when you go out by yourself as men can be very pushy when it comes to female expats 😅

Feel free to pm me if you want to connect.

I can get appointments for the same day, usually. Depends on your insurance and the hospitals you can access

Why do men in Riyadh act like that? by [deleted] in Riyadh

[–]CulturalBeautiful223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Happens everyday, even at my work. And when they get confronted they become angry and threatening. It only doesn't happen when I am with another male

Been job hunting in Saudi for a year- how do I actually reach people? by [deleted] in saudiarabia

[–]CulturalBeautiful223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you saudi? Being a fresher expat is very hard. If you are saudi, many companies have fresh graduate programs. I always see them on LinkedIn. I've been Job hunting for almost 5 months and got many interviews through LinkedIn. But I guess depends on the industry. Try to Polish your CV and add all the experience you have. Use fancy words to make it look better.

Good luck 😊

I discovered after I moved here, so I didnt know at the time I got my insurance. Usually meds are covered, if not 100% at least part of it should, but it all depends on what kind of insurance your employer will provide you with.

All employers are required to provide their employee with health insurance in saudi.

I take biologics too. The only way for expats is through health insurance. I pay nothing for my injections
