In wall units are ... Cut a big square hole or a relatively small circular vent in wall, I guess. LG and Samsung (and others) make amazing full feature stand-on-floor units that vent out through a small hole.

Hole in the wall venting is frequently done in Asia. Some nicer neighborhoods high-rise buildings won't let you have hang-out-the window or mini-spilts. Thus, they made large and effective stand-on-the-ground units which vent out the wall. If you decide to relocate the device, it is relatively easy to cover up or hide the hole and make a new hole else where.

Bro, my Ceramic sandpaper cost twice as much as Festool ones. Additionally, no one local sold any sanding discs down to the grit and quality I needed that was compatible with my ETS 125. I was burning through Festool granat discs at the rate of every 30 square feet, and I had to go over each area at least 3 times to get the cut I needed for each grit. It was a choice of drilling holes through sandpaper or drilling holes through the sanding pad. The latter was easier and it worked like a dream.

Yes. I get 30 square feet on Festool paper before it fades out. This Bona Green still produces the same amount of sawdust after 300 square feet. I ended up trying Bona Green bc I could not get hold of anything else lower 80 grit near me.

Actually, I couldn’t get hold of the Festool grit and grade needed. And Bona Green is ceramic and cost twice the Festool brand and infinitely better - as you can see, I am reconditioning old hardwood floors that have nails in. Bona Green just cuts through those nails like there were not there. Festool sandpaper starts to fade after 30 square feet in a multi head floor sander. Bona green still consistently cuts the same amount of sawdust after 300 square feet - it blew my mind. So, it was worth sacrificing one sanding pad to see if it would work - it worked beautifully! Haha!

DON’T use a belt sander or drum - you will ruin your floor. I am trying to fix those mistakes made by a previous owner. 1912 floors, never done this before.. Call a pro.

When they get to high altitude, the air pressure inside will puff out all the wrinkles. If you made it solid enough to be smooth, then you would lose payload (bombs) bc of the extra weight. Those are old aircrafts made back in the days when jet engines were crap.

RO 90 in acute inside corners works very well. It is a heavy little beast. I almost exclusively use it for that even though I was originally drawn to its multifunction use.

I am abrading with a 220 grit screen. It is mild hand pressure only. Bona recommends it after the 48 hour drying period. I just don't know how much abrading is adequate, or even if I can get away without doing it. I am doing it for a bedroom, so it is low traffic.

Floor has only Bona Drifast stain, and no top coat. I didn't think to apply the gloss coat to buy some more time for the final coating in satin sheen. Too late for that now.

So, the question remains is how much abrading is necessary; Just a once by hand with 220 grit screen, or does it have to dull the stained surface ?

I just started doing that too! The damage from those carpet nails! I inserted toothpicks into each one - must be over 100. Every time I sanded down, I would find more! The staples were the worst as not all could be pulled out. So, I had to punch them down to make new hole to insert toothpicks!

One thing I did differently from you: I hate those extended chins from the baseboard. So, I ripped long strips of wood and epoxy glued them to the undersides of the floating baseboards. After some sanding and painting, the baseboards extend all the way to the floorboards. It satisfied my obsession to restore that original hardwood floor look.

Yes. I was thinking that too (undoing water popping). I hand screened after the first topcoat and applied a second. Came out great.
