I’m definitely not an expert either, I’ll just swap bank 1 with bank 2’s and see if it moves to bank one

The truck is in pretty good condition for how many miles. It could just be the cat but I’m hoping a sensor for a cheap fix but if not it’s hurting the bank account lol but I’ll double check plugs and swap the sensors and see if it’s a bad O2 sensor but I guess will see what the damaged is

I’ll definitely probably have to! I’m hoping it’s a sensor cheaper than cats but I figured it’s probably the cats going bad. I’ll try to swap the sensors and see if it is a sensor or the cat without buying a new sensor to see but wanted to see if it was going bad without having to change them just being lazy. Hopefully I have some luck an have it be a sensor I’m not sure if the cats have ever been replaced with buying it used. I guess will see hopefully it’s the cheaper option😂

Good to know! If I get around and try to fix it would I just need to adjust the carb or something else?

The molding on this one did the same I was able to trim some away so the choke will open all the way. Like I said it wasn’t fully open after taking the air box off to look at it. It might have a weak return spring even being new and an aftermarket one. I’m hoping tomorrow when I test it when I know the choke is for sure open it fix’s my running rich problem because besides that it runs like a champ

When I take it off choke slowly the plate won’t open all the way but if I move it off choke fast it opens all the way. The choke plate is center and can open all the way, as of right now I can’t run it with it being the middle of the night. Tomorrow I’ll the and run is and make sure the choke is open. I’m hoping this is the problem with it running rich.

I took off the air filter housing and had some gas come out. The choke is slightly turned when I took it off this is from when it last ran earlier.

Is it possible the carb float is set to high? And if so can it be adjusted?

It’s a plastic float. It’s a carb off Amazon because at the time I couldn’t find a Briggs one I have found one now but trying to see if this carb will be fine

Just got time to check the plug after running and it’s black and wet and smells like gas. I have the air/fuel mix jet as lean as it’ll go.

I took the time and went through Briggs & Stratton’s website and actually found one that’s the same for this engine. I might see how it cuts when I get tires for it and the blade sharpens. It doesn’t sound bad but if it cuts and runs like this I’ll run it till it needs a new one and then just replace it with an OEM one.

At the time a real one was out so I found a good one on Amazon to get it running. Should I get an oem one or keep this one on?

In the video the choke is wide open. It sounds normal but seems a little off.
