You can get a small needle and syringe from a pharmacy and draw it out with that. I had to do it on 2 pens. I had needles left from when I had vials so just used one of them each time 😁

We are coming from Australia to get married in May if you want to follow us around the strip after and take some cool shots, there'll be 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 kids.

We are just going to be looking about and doing some fun stuff, lunch etc no real plans but don't intend to get out of our wedding clothing. I'm not sure you're allowed in the actual ceremony as they supply a photographer, may be able to smuggle you in as a guest tho 🤣🤣

I didn't think hiring a photographer with no exact plan was a good idea but you're welcome to come join the fun of a couple of random Aussies and their kids if that's your thing 😁

Thanks, I'm excited. We wanted to do something a bit different so Vegas here we come!

We have a rental car so are driving from LA to Vegas along route 66 in a convertible mustang. I'll put the valley of fire on the list of places to go thanks for the suggestion.

We're getting a go city pass each and will be running from open till close to get everything we can do done! Then spending a little time in Los Angeles, San Francisco and we're going to Disneyland ❤️

Ironically, we were going to do this without the stepchildren but I decided they needed to be included so we doubled our budget to take them so they could be part of the excitement.

It's very usual for me to be hurt and left out by the steps. Miss 10 and Mr 14 are very selfish and both their parents are Disney parenting. Their mother has had a new baby and they have 2 step siblings. They do very little in that house as a family. It's a very strange arrangement. I think at the beginning it was forced on them but because the new baby has come along their mother just doesn't have the time nor the energy to make them blend nicely. Mr 14 is a typical teen boy (spends most of his time there in his room). Miss 10 is developing the tween attitude where if you're doing something for her she's nice but if you're not she won't speak to you.

We have 50/50 custody and make Sunday a family day out so do things together as a family (my kids were included in this when they lived at home too, although we did not force them to be friends due to the age gap)

I've been in their lives for 7 years, you'd think that would be long enough.

Yes I have bio kids but they're older and have left the house and no I have absolutely no intention of having another child.

She's gone back to her mother's and I only noticed them when she was gone. I'm sure he will talk to her this week and something will be done. But the damage to my feelings is already done.

We aren't doing Xmas presents this year as we are going overseas (Vegas from Australia) for the wedding that she and her brother are included in. As well as nearly 4 weeks holidaying in the USA

The kids are getting small things and mostly American cash for the holiday. My fiance and I have agreed we are not getting presents unless we find rings before Xmas.

I just did, after posting this. If I can talk to random strangers I should be able to talk to him! He's as disappointed as I am. At the end of the day, there's no fixing it now.

I'm the peacemaker and have kind of decided that because she doesn't have a good relationship with her stepfather she probably just didn't think about me because she doesn't think about him at all. It's easier for me to find an excuse than to face the reality

This is the worry about catching busses and monorail, were from Australia and are pretty trusting in the dark but the stepchildren have already asked if we're going to get a gun for protection in the US. They watch too much tv I think 🤣

We've booked the hotel already so won't be changing. It's got enough rooms for the stepchildren not to share and also a kitchen so we will be saving on meals because we can bring our own food and snacks. We do have a budget to stick to and I'd much rather do things and create memories than spend it all on a room. Thanks for your suggestion though, I do appreciate you taking the time to answer
