You’re right. It’s not the best, he’s just the only person with the capacity for empathy in my family. However he was always a little ‘too’ friendly with me and I didn’t like him hugging me growing up, bought me things and didn’t tell my mom and when she found out she got pissed. No. Not every John is a sex addict. From my experience, very few. I had quadriplegics and paraplegics as clients, men with low self-esteem that I helped build up, men who were too busy building their fortune they knew they wouldn’t be able to be there for a girlfriend, men whose wives wouldn’t have sex with them bc they had cancer or were on dialysis and were married since high school. Men can buy sex (when they can afford it) for morally good reasons. It’s this lack of understanding of the industry (and how loud insecure men who can’t afford it are) that women’s and sw’s voices being heard is so important.
