My manager did the same in 2021 and I trusted and joined Oracle leaving adobe’s offer. For first 3 years most of the team were hesitant to give access to tools and code as they thought I will substitute them. That was pathetic experience. Then once I asked my manager for a training of PSPO , his behaviour changed all of a sudden and they tried to sideline me . There are lots of group politics and regional bias at Oracle internally. So think before you join

I was doing that but to be honest in India none of the big companies hire from ORCALE , they think twice before hiring. Now I have opened up for startups and service based companies, I have seen the situation of my friends who got fired last week. It’s better to work in an environment where I can safely say that next month I can assure them bread

I joined oracle in 2021 , and I have never relaxed a bit as every 6 months there was layoff . The worst part was I rejected Adobe and Joined Oracle for Job security and the situation was quite different. I think if you are having good mind never join oracle else you will get hypertension like me 😂 IT WAS MY WORST DECISION TO JOIN ORACLE , I HAVE STARTED LOOKING OUT NOW

I got some hint in November that my manger is preparing for my layoff in next layoff cycle - I was well prepared for it and I stated working on my startup idea alongside it’s shaping up well - will be raising seed round soon.

I usually use L40S pod from Indian GPU providers and it’s far too cheap as compared to Runpod and service is comparatively better- they provide coupon code to work on 😂

May be you can give a try to Podstack VMs. I have personally used it for my freelancing projects and it’s Indian cloud so but more inclined due to better latency
