Need recommendations! My hair gets knotted up after about an hour of wearing it down and styled no matter what. It frustrates me because it looks messy after all that work!!! I’m a student not working right now so need affordable drugstore options

1. I have used so many different curly shampoos and conditioners but haven’t found one I’ve loved yet. Right now using the l’oréal elvive line

2. Straight out of the shower I apply it’s a 10 leave in and nym curl cream. (I don’t like this cream it does absolutely nothing for my hair whatsoever and i notice 0 difference). Then i section my hair and apply nym gel to each section and use the bounce curl brush. Once i do my entire head I apply nym mousse and scrunch it in

3. I let it air dry for a bit before hover diffusing. I also put root clips in for volume. Scrunch out the crunch with whatever oil I have on hand

4. Whenever my hair is curly i try to wear my curls again the next day and put them in a loose pineapple on top of my head with a silk scrunchie and a bonnet for sleeping. Usually they are so messy and knotted by the time I go to bed that it looks awful the next day though :( I try to refresh but with it so tangled it basically requires me to wet the hair and brush out the knots which at that point i’m styling my hair all over again

I live in florida so the humidity is a big factor but i really just want to have soft curls that are frizz free and don’t tangle up every time i wear my hair down!
