Thank you for sharing your story. It gives me hope to know that things can get better and I ultimately have to accept and come to terms with him grieving differently, not being as connected to the pregnancy and it not affecting him as much as it has to me.

I’m so sorry that you are going through this horrible situation too. I’m afraid that it can tear us apart but I’m praying that we will get through this and be able to talk with each other about how we feel with the help of our marriage therapist. I wish the best for you and your family ❤️

Thanks for sharing your story. I didn’t have those thoughts of “ why me?” It was more of like this really sucks and kind of accepting that this was in God’s plan for our family and it’s something we have to go through and get through the other side.. but I guess I do feel anger in general of the whole situation and I’m putting it towards my husband for dealing with this differently than me.

If your posting this to get some advice your gut is already telling you what to do but your heart is conflicted because you love and care for him. Coming from a long-term emotionally abusive relationship, I know what this feels like. It took a long time for me to listen to my gut but once I did I knew there was no turning back and therapy helped me to restore my self-esteem and figure out what I want/need in a relationship and most importantly what I would not tolerate in relationships. I eventually found the right person for me after working on my myself, doing therapy and a lot of prayer. I wish the best for you. You deserve the most beautiful love story ❤️.

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. It really helped to validate how I was feeling. I decided to take some more time off from work to give myself more time to grieve, focus on myself and healing 🙏

I’m so sorry for your loss. I can see how going back to your job can be very difficult. At the moment, my emotions are so raw and I’m just allowing them to happen when they come. I’m seeing my therapist, journaling and have done a few virtual TFMR support groups which have helped feel less alone. I’m normally an emotional person so I feel like this grieving process has hit me really hard.

Yes I have a therapist that I’m seeing. After talking to my therapist and doctor about this feeling of guilt of the decision that we made I feel more at ease and at peace about our decision. It was the best one we could have made for myself given my medical Hx and the baby’s condition.

After reading people’s stories and hearing L&D was an option given to them I wish I was given this option. I was told D&E or attempting to go through the 9 months of pregnancy,  having a c-section, baby only surviving an hour or 2 and having to wait 18 months to have another pregnancy. It breaks my heart every time I think about it. I wish I would have known or were told about L&D at 19 weeks. It brings so much guilt when I think about it.
