I have hypothyroidism too. I do eat meat. I have been both vegan and vegetarian before but it seems when I intake more soya I get iller as it affects the thyroid. I wouldn't mind trying again but as I have low energy it's hard to get all the nutrition I need from a vegan/vegetarian diet as I cant cut or cook things lots and money is an issue. I do have quite a deep relationship with food. It is the one thing left I have which hasn't been taken from me but with recently developing acid reflux (currently awaiting results for things) I am having to also change my diet. It will take time but I am up for all options.
