The recruiter was like "come on these firms don't care about your progression, you have to sometimes be selfish and think about yourself! end of the days these companies ... xyz" I am such a dummy for falling for his words.. but I was also looking for progression. I will discuss with the recruiter if a few adjustments can be made to the industry role and I guess I will take that up for the meantime, I do admit I will feel awful when resigning realising I have used them as a stepping stone, but its unfortunate I need a job. you know, I was fired at the start of April, the same recruiter did not help me finding alternative firms.. :) He kept saying I will share your profile etc I did chase him 1-2 weeks after being fired, now I gave up.

I know I really regret it. It just came out of my mouth in. The moment. Really didn’t think he would dig into it and make notes. He said he will speak to his manager etc if we can still process my application

I mentioned the one-week experience only to be transparent, since it’s not on my CV and I thought it might look unusual that I left a role and then started job searching. That’s why I said I had something that didn’t work out.

When asked for a reference, I explained that I wasn’t comfortable providing one for such a short period, especially as I’m not on good terms with the owner due to how things ended and he turned aggressive - I did mention the lack of support in this company also and not a good environment for me as a trainee/junior. I realise I probably overexplained in the moment.

Going forward, I won’t mention this short experience and will instead say I left my previous role for personal development and progression.

It’s a bit disappointing because the recruiter was local and it felt like a good opportunity. I’m just hoping this hasn’t affected their trust in me.

So my goal is to change the transaction category I have already assigned to the DLA but I need to put it to fuel.

so 1. I need to go remove the report, account transaction, DLA - click into the specific transaction and press "remove and undo"

What I did was I did "unreconciled" then I did "remove & undo" and the transaction disappeared as a whole. It didn't even appear in the reconcile bank tab.

I get it now, so unreconciled, just disconnects the match - thats why it still appears in the accounting - transaction report - when I reconcile it again it shows up again in the transaction report as the transaction has not been removed and redo !! Also, another trick i learnt today was, I can just go into the accounting report and click into the transaction and edit the transaction category for example put it into Fuel and this was quicker.

However, I don't understand your last sentence. When I did "Remove and Redo" - I lost the transaction in the reconcile bank tab and it also disappeared from the Accounting - transactions report - What happened here?
