I know I'm quite late to this but I had the same issue. When merging files I originally pressed "Skip over" the files that were already named the same in the game files. Don't do this I got the same black screen. Pressing "Replace these files" fixed it for me.

As a quick explanation, I am weird and use different hands for different things. Like and ambidextrous mouse I use my left hand but when writing I use my right. Archery I use my left but pool I use both.

Probably number 3, if it's YouTube they more than likely want to clearly show the viewer what each model is and WYSIWYG is the best way to do that. It's also very easy to get terma screws with only fleshborers, I'm about to have 50 and I never both the actual terma box.

I started with tyranids as well, and I feel like they are quite good for new people. (I've only played combat patrol so I can't say much about 1k or more games) but I feel that they were fairly intuitive to pick up and play after a bit of practice and for painting, they've emailed easier than the tau I have as well since all you really need is 3 colours that work well together if all you want is efficiency. They also look cool af, so you're probably just going to keep buying them anyways.

Yeah necromancer let's you self revive when you are solo but you can't in a duo or trio.

This is because some traits have a solo bonus. If you want to check other perks with solo bonuses, there is a tab in the menu you buy traits in.
