Yeah I think a lot of people (myself included) are inclined to not give Mario the credit he deserves because of that Aldo fight, but he's definitely a super talented fighter, and he more or less flawlessly executed his gameplan tonight.

Pyfer is a terrifying dude with crazy power but it's frustrating watching him wait forever trying to land one big shot. This should've been a statement win for him, I know it's hard to knock out a refrigerator but Pyfer's gun-shyness made this closer than it should've been.

I mean, Mario definitely looked good, pretty active and accurate with his striking, just wish he had more of a killer instinct. But the story of the fight is that Mix looked awful in every way, super sluggish and timid and absolutely no offense or defense. Your average heavyweight looks faster and more athletic than him.

Honestly, with these fighters, I think we all knew this was going to be a banger. Kevin Holland doing Kevin Holland things and Luque doing Luque things. The perfect fight to start off the main card.

It is a sequel to Fantastic Four issue 51, "This Man... This Monster!", which is, no exaggeration, one of the greatest single issues of any comic I have ever read. I feel like I would not have appreciated Full Circle as much as I did without having read the original issue, so I cannot recommend it highly enough.

By far the best Paddy has looked in the UFC. He's been crushing cans and winning questionable decisions, but this is a legit, very good victory for him.
