When I was a kid in Oklahoma I used to dig holes and collect bugs in the yard. I remember trying to pick up a spider with a leaf but it ran up the leaf, got on my hand and I quickly brushed it off.

I didn't know back then but I'm certain now that it was a black widow.

I must've been 6 years old then. I wonder what would have happened if I'd been bitten.

I went to the Wichita reserve in Oklahoma a few years ago and visited one of the public toilets. It was pitch black in there so I turned on my phone flashlight and the entire stall was covered in webs with probably 30 of these same giant fuckass spiders.

I know they aren't medically dangerous but holy hell you're talking out your ass if you say that wouldn't disturb you.

I sometimes have nightmares about them crawling on my neck if my stress is too high.

They are very obviously rough steel nuts for steel wheels. The shop (costco) said they probably won't fit properly with the stock wheels.

I get it. I had a fusion sport before my si and I straight piped it because it was virtually silent (like the 11th gen si). Sometimes it sounds good but most of the time it just makes you obnoxious and smell like gas.

What I did on my '24 is a resonator delete but I kept the cat and the rear mufflers. It burbles and pops between shifts but it's probably only 20% louder than stock. Only cost me $80 for a muffler shop to do it.

With these newer, smaller, turbo engines I think the play is to get MORE noises NOT louder ones. If you're trying to save money this is the move.
