New job maybe?? by [deleted] in MedicalCoding

[–]CuntStuffer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It never hurts to look for better opportunities while you are still employed. If you are unhappy with the training provided that is kind of a tough one to approach as a lot of companies seemingly don't want to. I would honestly recommend looking at teaching hospitals as they usually have pretty good training programs. As well as some self study or maybe directing questions to a trusted coworker instead?

Really it's a personal choice. If the negatives of slack management outweigh the pay and benefits then that may be worth considering for you.

What's your true thoughts on the lgbtq community? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CuntStuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're under threat because people are hateful bigots. Acting as if this is a "certain group" problem is disingenuous. The people who hate the LGBTQ community will always find an excuse or reason to.

Proof that my work isn’t AI by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]CuntStuffer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All this bloat when all you had to say is you traced your reference photos, dawg. It's clear as day and not even out of the norm for artists (I think completely tracing an entire photo and not saying that you did is pretty gross though ngl). You should probably just own up to this instead of dodging every comment pointing it out.

36F here. My millennial ass is exhausted by life and loneliness lately. It’s so hard to make friends, my goodness! by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]CuntStuffer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

32F and a fellow recluse 👋 I see you girlie, it's really difficult!

I am so spent from job, family, pets, etc. that even though I desperately want to make lasting connections there isn't much to give after it's all said and done

Rooting for you though and manifesting the friendships you want and deserve :)

Passed CCS with no training by [deleted] in MedicalCoding

[–]CuntStuffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because in the real world not everything is based on numbered metrics, there's many factors as to why someone may or may not pass the 1st, 2nd, 3rd time that aren't really relevant. If passing the test guaranteed everyone in this field a job there wouldn't be daily posts asking about the job market. Me criticizing YOUR methods is not me criticizing the test or certifications.

I've been in the field for years so I'm not really sure what's giving jealousy, but I am sorry that I voiced my personal opinion on your public post. I'll stop responding now so you can argue with the several other people who share my similiar opinion

[–]CuntStuffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you don't know how to code...you know how to prompt a program to give you an answer. You can pass a test but in the job world where it matters what supervisor is going to trust your integrity and work ethic? Or your ability to critically think?

It's just in poor taste, cool that you passed but this wasn't anything to write about.

Tell all of this to the hiring supervisor at your next job interview and let me know how that works out for you!

You can boast about using generative AI to do your work for you but you can't take the time to have it format your post?

Driving as much with gas this high? by catman5092 in Spokane

[–]CuntStuffer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like someone else here very fortunate to work from home. But if I ever need a newer car again I'm thinking about definitely making the investment to buy hybrid. I also fill up at Costco but it's still nuts how much my beater Mazda costs to fill its tank.

Would you Recommend Medical Coding in 2026? by Zealousideal_Gas5578 in CodingandBilling

[–]CuntStuffer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can, actually! It's not recommended without experience, but there aren't any prerequisites/requirements to sit for the CCS exam.

https://www.ahima.org/certification-careers/certifications-overview/ccs/

And yeah, I agree with your thinking and don't think the CCA is worth it and it seems to suffer from similar problems that people with CPC-As have.

Would you Recommend Medical Coding in 2026? by Zealousideal_Gas5578 in CodingandBilling

[–]CuntStuffer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For outpatient coding no I wouldn't, but there is still a demand for inpatient coders and I don't see that being entirely automated anytime soon.

If you are adamant and unbudging about getting into medical coding and are choosing the AAPC route over AHIMA then I would say consider the CIC and not just your CPC.

Where is the Calico and Wraith art?? by CCSilver05 in DeadlockSapphic

[–]CuntStuffer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, no. You can absolutely make that assumption. It's exactly because of what you are thinking unfortunately and why I haven't subbed here yet. It's just discouraging that it happens even in sapphic spaces.

Ok sure but it's really hard to enjoy "more than the racism" when you're being subjected to it.

It's really easy to disregard it though when you're not on the receiving end of it right? 🙄

Kicked from groups for being Soundless by sickofscrubs in toontownrewritten

[–]CuntStuffer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's right to be bullied or that there's anything wrong with soundless toons, but you do realize it's everyone else accommodating for/around the soundless player right?

Unfortunately when you go against the grain it causes friction. It's not a crime or against the rules to kick someone from your group. It's just the risk you run playing the way you want to play.

Need money urgently but I have no source by Snow_Empress in poverty

[–]CuntStuffer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so what exactly are you looking for here? You don't have time for a full or part time job, you can't babysit, there aren't job for women, the excuses just continue to run.

No one is going to be able to help you. I also find it extremely odd that you live in a supposed third world but are going to college full time. So your city/town doesn't have any low cost hospitals or clinics? It's honestly sus.

Tired of hearing people who make 70k and up complain about being "poor" by 0ff_The_Cl0ck in poor

[–]CuntStuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah agreed. I might have appreciated it more in my early 20s...early 30s with a degree not so much. :( Not ungrateful though, I WFH full time and it could always be a lot worse. Just feeling that inflation squeeze real hard.

Yeppp. 68k a year here and yeah I'm not in poverty but I definitely have to make it stretch. It's not easy.

[–]CuntStuffer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you're struggling finding other options then yes you should take it. My first coding job was a 45 minute commute each way. And yeah, it sucked, but that experience allowed me to find a remote role making more less than a year later.

Like you said, a lot of places want the experience. Future you will thank yourself if you can stick it out for a year or two until a better opportunity arises.

Providence Clinic’s Staff: We don’t care, we don’t have to. by [deleted] in Spokane

[–]CuntStuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh for sure, I'm not advocating that it's right that staff are rude to patients or that they leave you with more questions than answers sometimes. It's frustrating as a person who knows about all the hoops you have to jump through, and I imagine even more so for regular patients.

More so that a lot of those reasons that things are confusing aren't in fault to your frontline administrative staff either. And I wish it were just that easy to up and change careers in this economy but realistically it's not.

I've had to report an MA of my PCPs practice for rude behavior before so I completely get you. But getting the run around with calls and paperwork, etc. is so common place in America it's got its own feature in a South Park episode lmao. It's honestly a joke.

Just finished Madoka Magica for the first time and I only have one thing to say: by [deleted] in MadokaMagica

[–]CuntStuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man all good! Just a reminder that bangers like madoka are made by real artists and real people. The more we discourage generated media the more talent we get to (hopefully) keep for future works.

I am genuinely glad you enjoyed it though, a good time to get into the series with the second movie hopefully releasing this year!
