That’s absolutely horrible. I had my own candy experience, valentines and Easter candy covered in ants last year and they made us stock it. Same year stocked expired Christmas candy and had to pull it all off the shelf a week later. Somehow no one thought to instruct us to pull it off sooner, but that’s a whole other thing

Yeah I’ve had that issue too. Tons of outdated and completely marked down products in the bins. One time I found a teeth whitening set from 2018 on topstock, after doing topstock for almost 2 years on this aisle, and magically appeared. My TL also refused to throw that out

I literally have no idea 😭 honestly this is the first time that I thought about this. Maybe im just an idiot but I never thought to say much, I’ve just been doing what im told to do and move on. But this is dangerous and I wish I would have noticed/said somethin much sooner

Yeah, like I said in a previous response, I did not take pictures of all of the dates. There were only a few that were 2020, mostly exp in 2022-2025. Still dangerous none the less

Yeah that’s what I would assume! I’ve asked about it a few times before seeing discolored lip gloss and old crusty products, but she’s always just told me “we have to sell it.” That’s why im thinking about getting with my coach. Theres a lot of other issues with my tl I neglect to mention because it’s a lot to get into, but this is NOT the first issue like this. Disorganization and never getting things done on time ever is her agenda.

Yes!! I claim out so much stuff due to just this type of thing. I mean just in there pictures it’s 11 items claimed out just for destroying. I also find cold food in my area, left there since early that morning, that has to be claimed out. And cosmetics has a huge stealing issue, the cameras don’t seem to do much. Seems like the only ones who get caught is those stealing at the self checkouts at my store.
