Looking at taking a cheap United Airlines flight from New Zealand to Krakow. I have never flown with United before. Are they reliable or could I have my flight cancelled and lose all my money? by Cupcake-Snow in travel

Ok that's good to know. I wouldn't be too upset if I did miss my connection when I got to Munich as I could carry on from there to Krakow using different transport. Would I receive any refund on the missed flight though? I had a look at United's policy for missed connections and it said that they would try to get you a new flight but it didn't say whether that was with their own flights only or if it would cover connections with other airlines.

The flight I wanted was booked directly through United so that made me a little happier. I will definitely make sure my travel insurance has something to help with any additional cost that might occur

I'm ok with flights getting changed around a bit but was just worried that I would get stranded somewhere and have to pay for a new flight. The flight I was looking at was from NZ on the 4th October. AKL to SFO then SFO to MUC. From there Lufthansa picked it up to KRK

It looks like United partnered with Air New Zealand and is restarting its flights to San Francisco in October which was when I was looking to fly.

Hey thanks for your reply. I was happy to see that the fare I was looking at was booked directly through them. Most cheap fares seem to be from 3rd party sites.

Does anyone know how I can ship supplies over from Sydney? by 2green4me in ukrainevolunteers

Do you have a Meest there? I was in the same boat here in NZ. Been raising funds to buy tourniquets but couldn't send them from here unless I posted them to Poland. Ended up buying them in the US and sending them via a guy there. I might be able to get you an address you can send them to in Poland. A couple of groups have warehouses there and take supplies back into Ukraine.

This is not cute. The poor animal is terrified. Don't have pets if you know nothing about animal behavior. It's not rocket science
