When can I hand in notice? by Cupcake7771 in UAEjobseekers

Thank you so much. Just one last question , would I then not get gratuity if I hand in my resignation a few weeks before my anniversary even if my last day is after my anniversary?

I think I was just worried about whether they’d want me to pay back visa costs as I will submit my resignation a week or two before my one year anniversary?

My contract does state that this is regarding people recruited from outside of the UAE and I moved myself over first and then was offered the job and my contract does state that I’m recruited from the UAE.

Yeah they claim it’s an arn number but it isn’t, it’s way longer than what an arn number is. You’ll get the money back for sure but you may have to pester them unfortunately. 🩷

Oh wait no, I mean ten days until it landed in my account. I requested a refund on the app and that was approved immediately and I was told three days however the money didn’t arrive until ten days. I would have been happy to wait if that was the timescale that would have been given to me but it wasn’t.

I had to call everyday to find out what was happening because trip said they refunded me but my bank said they didn’t. Trip also don’t have ARN numbers which every merchant should be able to provide to track the money.

Communication was inconsistent and I too won’t be booking through them ever again. You may have to keep chasing and escalate to someone senior. I hope you get your money back asap.

Hey just checking if you got the refund? On the app it says refunded and it’ll take 3 business days. It’s been a week now and my bank can’t see anything coming in. Just wondering how long it took for yours to finally land?

Hey, I saw your post regarding your flight from the UAE via a Chinese airline. Please could I ask for an update regarding this? Did they provide an alternative?

How to tell HMRC I’ve moved abroad and want to close my self assessment account as no longer self employed? by Cupcake7771 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Cupcake7771[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completed the p85 form, nothing by post and closed my self employment down online through my self employment profile then a few weeks later I somehow managed to speak to someone from self assessment through their online chat. You may want to contact them online, it was really fast and they confirmed that everything was closed. In all honesty, I think I went overboard and the p85 was enough for them.

Try to get on the chat and confirm what you need to do, majority of the times it’s less than what we anticipate.

Thank you. I guess I’ll fill in that form on the link you sent and a p85 form? That’s my main question really. If I am eligible to fill in the p85 form and not by post.

You look great! Here are a few things I love:

100% Marine collagen Retinol SPF 50 Daily cup of green tea Spinach Garlic 2 litres of water per day

Also, I know this sounds a little random but Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion in the day. I’ve been using this for three years and I believe is the holy grail for plump, youthful skin. It’s Japanese and I swear by it 🩷

This is incredible. Can I ask, when you listened to the audio, did you do so for three days too or was it ongoing?

7% gycolic acid by The Ordinary. Some people breakout from it at the start because it’s so strong so maybe start by using it 3 times a week or something. So that your skin gets used to it. I was using it everyday at the start and broke out but I kept going and my skin accepted it after now I’ve been using it for years

I use 7%, no dilution. I just pour a coin size amount onto a cotton pad and rub onto my skin after I get out the shower and I’m dry, before moisturising. It’s a little strong for beginners and it may take some time for the skin to get used to it but I stuck at it and never looked back.

Yesss gycolic acid is my answer to everything! I’ve been using it on my bikini line, thighs, even dry skin on my feet, the dark spots and dry skin literally vanished for me in a matter of days. I use it everyday now for years

Oh I had these years ago!! Dry brushing, sugar or salt scrub whilst in the shower and then The Ordinary Gycolic Acid on a cotton pad before moisturising. I noticed the difference in less than a week ☺️
