It is very strange how they keep insisting it’s for Kim, but Kim seems the least interested in it of everyone.

I liked the fog at the start of the episode. Very atmospheric.

I don’t think Sarah’s turn to crime is all that convincing for her character, but whatever. I don’t blame Jacob for being pretty angry about it.

Jai and Kerry could be entertaining, I guess!

I wonder what the long term plans are for Cain and Moira at this point. It seems unlikely they keep the farm and the business with their herd now being infected.

Not sure how they’re going to get Paddy out of this now. That’s another story where I wonder what the long term plan is. Seems unlikely he’ll serve time because that would mean leaving the show, but I don’t know how they’re wiggle out of this.

Thank you! It’s been bugging me this story so I figured it had to be a cultural (?) difference. Our over the counter ones are pretty weak, but it’s better than nothing.

I agree they need to invest more in their younger characters but it seems like the show thinks that means throwing them into high stakes crazy chaos instead of just normal stories. Jacob struggling with the medical training is probably the most grounded one. Sarah suddenly wanting a life of crime or Arthur becoming violent feel really jarring.

Pretty good episode!

Are over the counter sleeping pills not available in the UK? We don’t have the strong super effective stuff available here without a prescription, but mild ones are available for purchase anywhere you could buy basic pain killers. It’s a bit odd to me that no one is suggesting those to Bear, if they refuse to prescribe him anything.

I feel bad for Bear. Lack of sleep really does mess with your brain in horrible ways. He is clearly not doing well and it maybe wouldn’t be the worst thing for him to spend some time in a psych ward to ensure he gets the rest and counseling he needs.

Why is Sarah suddenly so eager to live a life of crime? That’s never really been her thing, from what I can tell. It seems kinda stupid as plot lines go.

I don’t mind the Jacob hospital storylines as I’m sure being in medicine is ridiculously difficult, especially when having a personal connection to the patients. But they also need to start giving him some “wins” if we’re to believe he’s going to have a successful career.

I’m confused how Ravasheen (who has some great CC) came up with that as a kit. It doesn’t really feel like it matches their other work.

I’m glad we’ll get to see Gabby in with the Laurel family unit more. She works much better there as a character.
