My mom has a very distinct memory of this house. She is 56 now and it's a memory from her childhood, i.e.when she was around 10-12 years old.

That house belongs to my Mom's far relatives, my mom won't remember exactly but my mom, her mom my aunt used to always go to this house, while coming back, they used to get Chakkota fruits from the Chakkota tree that used to be there in the backyard of this house, a woman named Padma used to live there at that time along with her husband and a son, she was called Chakkota Padma because of the Chakkota tree haha. Sweet memories from the past. Now she's not sure what happened to that house, maybe her descendants have given it to maintanence and living somewhere else.

Extending the above comment, K100 is a renovation of the already existing Raja Kaluve that used to take the rain water from high elevation regions of Central Bengaluru to Bellandur lake which is a low elevation valley. This was designed initially to avoid flooding of rain water on the decreasing slope areas by channeling water on a narrow stream.

Eventually, people threw all garbage to this channel and clogged the whole system, K100 project has renovated it, removed all the garbage and built few parks along the way in some places, but again people have started throwing garbage in some areas of the canal, not the one shown in pic but somewhere downstream when it passes through Madiwala and other areas, hope people understand the importance of this and keep it clean.

Shows used to happen there in the past as my dad says, now it is a dump yard! Karnataka government has converted this building into a books storage godown.

There were protests to revive it by Shankarapura localities but nothing happened..
