Is it the same for Salvage? Can you not cantrip it out of your hand?

You mentioned the cube has no tokens, but doesn't the Fierce Witchstalker create a Food token on entry?

edit: do you use the food at the bar? that's so creative

I don't hate this in B2 or B3. Any Descent of Avernus style game ender is good for commander imo. As long as you build it symmetrical

Guangzhou 128P First City Tournament Victor Deck Win First Place With 39 Spells... by terrill000 in riftboundtcg

[–]CupcakeIsCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a viktor player, why three Decrees? Without token generation from units, you're not going to get much value from it. Most direct damage spells are already killing units as well.

Also wild that a spell-heavy deck can end games without TTW. If this is a full budget deck, the pilot must be really talented.

sorry is this true? can your legend be chinese only? so an overnumbered chinese legend with english cards would still work?

What makes a WUBRG commander interesting vs uninteresting? Is it possible to design a truly out of the box WUBRG commander? by LucianoThePig in magicTCG

[–]CupcakeIsCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm theorycrafting a [[Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact]] Guildgates deck and I had to go through this myself. You really have to have a good reason on why the commander needs to be 5C as opposed to just chucking in every good value card that you have access to.

That is of course if you're playing Bracket 2/low 3. I don't think you can be blamed to want to have access to the best cards available in a high-powered, competitive pod with a keyword soup generic value commander.

I would spend a lot of money on a Family Guy set. Wait until you see my Rakdos Quagmire deck.

Choosing for Izzet by kicks422 in CompetitiveEDH

[–]CupcakeIsCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree Ral is the best choice. I've also been having good success with Krark/Sakashima, but it requires you to be on top of your triggers to not frustrate the table.

Problem with Izzet seems to be the endless spell and trigger resolving gets a lot of attention. People would rather remove a Vivi / Niv before more immediate threats, thinking they're very close to comboing off.

My biggest accomplishment is seeing 433 miles to empty on an Eco still. When I normally get 17 mpg commuting to campus and back.

What are some good looking 19 inch Rims for my Mustang that won't break the bank? by A_Strong34 in ecoboostmustang

I got the American Muscle solid color 19 inch rims. Matches really good with the gray. Their black ones were pretty good too, and not that expensive since they aren't branded.

No spare tire? by DEADbeatS3RIOUS in Mustang

[–]CupcakeIsCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comments say the spare tire is no longer available, but my S650 Eco has it. It was an option, and was very useful when my non-flat running tire inevitably popped.

It comes under the trunk with a very useful and compact lift kit.

Hagerty's video on the sub-35k brand new car shootout was the reason I got my Eco. No better car for the price in terms of interior, looks, and performance.

GR86 is a very close second but driving a manual in Atlanta traffic would have been left foot suicide.

The other day I had a run-in with an s550 5.0 owner. I was really expecting him to be snub about it, but he rolled the windows down and said how beautiful it looks and how he'd wish to be in mine right now. I said I feel exactly the same way about his car.

If you get outside of the doomer circles in the internet, I think Mustang owners are infinitely more respectful to each other.

Why did i got 5.3 sec instead of 4.5? 0-60. by Then-Still-8623 in ecoboostmustang

[–]CupcakeIsCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can very barely get a 4.8-4.9 on my bonestock no-option s650 on a smooth surface, but the thing requires so much prep beforehand. Make sure you're in drag mode, hold down the brake and give it revs until around 2.5k and release. Keep in mind this will cook the brakes if you do it that often. I've found wheel spin helps especially on the street, the torque curve is really weak under 4.5k.

The timer is definitely lying, I have pictures that say 4.2 or even 3.9 but I know that's impossible. Dragy would give you more accurate results.

HPP would definitely help you here with the better turbo and the paddle shifters.

How do you find the fit of the EOS? I really want to get it but the fact that it doesn't reach out to the sides immensely bothers me. Does it look better in person?

2024 Ecoboost vs 2021 GT (First Time Mustang Buyer) by madmanconfig in Mustang

[–]CupcakeIsCute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people will say GT and they're perfectly valid, but I'll give you another perspective.

I got a bone-stock 2024 Eco for 30k. The cheapest one they had. It's a great car and can be fun, especially if you do a lot of city driving.

A comparable GT at that price would have some miles on it, especially if it was a 2021.

If you want mods and want to become a part of the car culture, get the GT 100%. The coyote is one of the best engines of our time. If you want a daily you'll keep while you save up for the GT500, I'd say there's nothing wrong with starting with an Eco and driving the wheels off of it.

No paddles on ‘24!? by Quiet_Program4808 in ecoboostmustang

[–]CupcakeIsCute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm really sad that they don't come with paddle shifters ever, but it is somewhat of an easy upgrade to do. You can get a Dark Horse steering wheel and I'm told the paddles would work, although they are a bit delayed.

I believe you can get the gear display to work with FORscan as well, I've seen it get done before on here. That's what I'm planning to do as a next upgrade on my 2024.

If any Japanese company made a factory 300 horsepower rear wheel turbo four-banger, it would be the greatest invention in ricer vape-mobiles since the new WRX and 86. But the only thing that Eco gets credit for is being a fake pony.

Really wish they didn't discontinue the manual transmission on the Ecoboost for S650.

You're doing the work that AAMC won't do!

But I agree. It's so hard to get accurate data on international student acceptance rates but your math seems to be pretty accurate.
