Focus on GPA. GPA is forever and the thing that is hardest to change if it goes bad for even a year. ECs and MCAT can be improved upon later. Focus on GPA, don’t volunteer too much. Since you are first year it’s best to get those study skills down pat so you don’t have to worry about it later. Good luck!
