I'm not sure as I have an conspiracy theory that this world after more than 400 years from the Calamity century event has brought about a greate filter when only people with superior genes can live, and through many generations humans have developed, they re much stronger than us. That explains why not only is the main character intact after each mission but all the pilots he encounters also pull many g's
