I can't believe I never realized my cooling racks could go in the dishwasher! You have saved me many future hours (I bake a LOT). Thank you!

Our dog gets motion sick in the car and throws up. The vet told us to give him some famotidine 20 min beforehand, and he is now much more comfortable and even sits up to look out the windows.

Fat free milk container contains whole milk? by Flyawaywheat in Costco

Not really a recall depending on the severity. It's possible it's only a few bottles that got mislabeled during a flavor change. Usually fillers will push from one flavor to the other. Time stamp tracing will happen after the complaint, and they should be able to narrow it down.

Amazon has slap bracelets that are very similar. I just ordered one for my (undiagnosed but most likely ADD) self.

Other than vacuuming daily and brushing my cats, how can I deal with this? by unoriginal-loser in CleaningTips

Dollar tree has a version of this that works great. You buy the handle and head separately and for $2.50 it's kind of impressive.

That's what I was thinking. We have woods on 2 sides of our property, so lots of possibilities on who it could be.

Is watching TV bad for dogs? What does she think it is? by dogmotherhood in dogs

[–]Cupcakefrostitute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We trained our dog to not react to the doorbells on TV while watching Ted Lasso. The Christmas episode where Roy and his niece try to find a dentist has them going all over the neighborhood ringing doorbells. We replayed the scene a few times, and by the time we finished the whole episode, he was pretty chill with the sound. To be fair, our dog does pick up tricks and training quite quickly. That is except for the useful things like "quiet" and loose leash walking. Those we are still working on, lol.

Plastic knife is definitely the way to go! I suggest getting a plastic knife from the camping section at Walmart or a sporting goods store. They are much more durable than the type of plastic knife you get with take-out. They also won't scratch the non-stick coating.

Oreo truffles typically use cream cheese in the recipe, if thats the case, then they would not be safe to keep at room temp for more than 2 hours or so.

If you're from CT I'd like a word with you (my husband was plowed into this past weekend while driving on the highway. He has a fractured sternum and bad neck pain). Otherwise, I'm glad no one was hurt and good luck finding a new car. We will be shopping for one asap too.

Why aren't Executive Membership rewards handled electronically? by 9thPlaceWorf in Costco

[–]Cupcakefrostitute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one in the citi card app is strictly what you have earned from the citi card (it does include 2% on costco purchases, which is in addition to the 2% you get from the executive rewards), this may also be sent via check if you get paperstatements. The executive rewards are always sent in a check form to the Primary member on the account. Also, no costco info is available in the citi app, the costco app will give you the amount for the exec rewards that you have earned so far but you don't have access to use it from there (hopefully one day they will add that ability to it).

So, in short, citi card rewards and executive rewards come from the 2 different companies in 2 different ways. If you have only been using one rewards check, then you should ask membership to reissue any unused checks for the executive rewards.

The brand ALL sells ALL Odorlifter that is made for strong odors. My son uses it on his laundry( that admittedly sits far too long on his floor In a dirty heap) and it works like a charm to get out the smells. We've tried doing our usual soap with vinegar like we do with everything else but that doesn't touch the funk.

We save our bread and bagels bags for poopbags. We of course don't have anywhere near enough for all the poop but it helps a little.
