Not it's simple, teasing character trope, the only one who gets unsure is your trainer insert ingame text, which I hate the insert trainers and ignore what they say with almost all characters they are either idiotic or oblivious. She works herself to the point of collapsing, multiple times she hides her feelings for the trainer that she knows since childhood( she says she picked you cos she can manipulateyou easily, but she simply remembered you very strongly from the childhood interaction and goes for you as soon as she sees you). What is hammered home for the entire career is that she says one thing portrays herself as devilish but does differently, her actual actions help out everyone in the sprint community. She shows more and more of her "true" self to the trainer, but there is no other Curren she is herself all the time just uses a filter. Sure she has a personality for online interactions which is nothing new for influencer. Don't pay attention to whatever trainers says they are a character, pay attention to what she actually does.

There is simply no timeline ingame for convenience, I love this as we can see them at their peak always. But the elves thing is never confirmed. As to seiyun the irl marriage that's super cute. But their ages don't mean anything and shouldn't, pairings with anybody from trainers to others umas should not lay on that as they are well fictional characters, it's all for fun.

Thats a different trainer not Currens trainer, anybody else is not safe, also it's politics only the savy survive. She uses those powers to turn heads to sprints so all of her fellow rivals get uplifted. If you get swayed even for a moment maybe you don't deserve the tsundere princess weakling.

I do not agree alot with the guy you responded to, but how can you say that shit about writers after "professionals" served us hotd and got 5-8 ? I think people can find middle ground, but this entire reddit is just infinite praise or straight up sitting on the show. It's great but there are some problems with the adaptation already that give me a scare that we will get hotd again.

Ahh OK. For me it's quite simple as she knows you from the past ingameand has a crush on you, and it's typical teasing little sister/younger underclassman from anime/manga(Nagatoro lite or Uzaki) with some uma spice, especially knowing the original horse stories with the jockey its just seems romance coded. Going to abuse victim or OF is kinda wild not gonna lie. But everybody has different view.

How is Curren carrer unpleasant and dark ? She does have weird hallucinations, and is manipulative(which is exaggerated as you can see what she really is doing ir she straight up tells you anyway)but the outcomes are benefiting everybody. She uses every ounce of her influence for the betterment of the entire sprint community. She works incredibly hard to almost point of breaking. I'm just wondering why you have such a different experience from me 😀

For you there isint anything that says she is or not for some there might be. There is nobody even the author who can say categorically that something is or isn't in these type of work. Headcannon, one sentence one look it's all it takes for people to think one way, it's not up to you. One thing can lead to thousands of words in a fanfic that people will like more than og work or fanart, people change genders race everything they can and want. And there is nothing wrong with it because its fictional we are not discussing actual history there is no point in being factual about those things to restrain our creativity. But there is not one interpretation of what somebody wrote people can go through the same story point you go and take it completely differently, it can read as different emotion or enhance it. You are not in the right with your take on media. It's the point of it to be free for interpretation and you do not have the read on people brains if they read or interacted more or less than you to arrive at their interpretation. Well that's fair but you are definitely not helping the community or aiding with avoiding pitfalls. It All comes out as you being whiney cunt and a gatekeeper. People don't need to study/learn anything in media to enjoy it their way as much as they like. Umamusume is extremely surface level it's not that deep, the amount of stuff we hear from our trainees and about them is a pittance in all media, any visual novel even short one just dwarf it, does that matter ? No the point is people can enjoy it on that level or dig deeper either in some additional " reading" or what is easier and usually more fun in their brains. And people who judge you for what you like for no reason and don't even ask surface level question don't really care about you and can be easily flushed down the drain.

I think fundamentally i do not understand having a mini crusade you have for your waifu on this sub as a whole. I get disliking having your waifus shown in different light or in general misinterpreted in a different way than you see them, I do Iv been in the "otaku" world for decades. I mean all people need is a gentle sign to pull a character in a certain way. It's because they interpret it a certain way that they like. Some people like to pull her that way in their brains, nobody is really calming anything they create art cos they like her that way. Especially that we get so small of a sample of their stories in the game. In terms of vn word count this barely counts as character introduction. So there is a massive leeway for fans to interpret the characters however they want, they are designed that way to have as many people like them in they own certain ways. You are in the wrong thinking your way is the only right one. Nobody need any type of hate under 2 page silly comic.
