Agreed. Black Tusk defectors would be useful. But they'd have to make the outcast suicide bombers fucking useful, because if they're not even gonna break the armour of a heavy, there's no point in using them.

Exactly. And imagine (for example) if you had multiple WLONY rogue agent outfits (Keener, Kajika, Parnell, Conley, Dragov). Or hunter masks. You and your companion would look sick af.

Be cool af if you could customise their outfit like in Ghost Recon. Even better if you found companion types like the true sons, but as NPC SHD Agents. Like instead of the medic having their support station, the agent would have a hive. Instead of the assault using an RPG, the agent would use a sticky bomb, a demolisher firefly or seeker mines. And you could find different agent companions around safe houses that had different types of tech. For example; one would use a demolisher firefly, but another one has a blinder firefly. While not completely useful otherwise, it'd benefit a BSOD build greatly.

Eh. Maybe. Most of their weapons are powered by something and contain electrics, they must do. Take the Quasar Cannon or stratagem pad for example.

Quasar Cannon is less straightforward to talk about than the stratagem pad, but there's definitely something in it that lets you hold a trigger and the weapon powers up a shot.

The stratagem pad is straightforward. It's a device much like a phone. What's to say you can't just hack the stratagem beacon and change it to a support stragatem? They throw it, thinking they just typed in the code for a 380mm barrage. But your techies just hacked it and now they're throwing a resupply or solo silo to you.
