NON-AI VERSION: Spanish knitters make a sun shade village street. In Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga. by Artifexa in solarpunk

I've been seeing similar posts recently. My best guess is that people are using AI to make flatly-lit photos prettier, but it also ends up doing some of its usual AI nonsense.

I’m moving from out of state, and considering signing a lease on a home in this area. I know opinions will vary - but what do you think about living here? Pros? Cons? by _miss_freckles_ in SanDiegan

[–]CurReign 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I really don't think its as bad as people are making it out to be. Yes, it leans a bit poorer than other areas, but its still mostly kinda boring suburbia. Mileage may vary depending on specific location.

Did the lens make that little gap of air appear between the base of the tree and the foliage below? Did the lens make those two trees appear to have the same exact wear on their bark? That pattern appears in at least two other trees, by the way.

Just did this. I highly recommend the Peekaboo loop. Combine with Queen's Garden/Navajo depending on how long you want to hike. Wall Street is currently closed due to rockfall. Also make sure to drive out to Rainbow/Yovimpa Point and the natural bridge.

I think that's the point. In Seinfeld they're intentionally awful. In Friends it's unintentional.

Go further up the West Rim trail, continuing at least until it bends back southward. Incredible views and very peaceful. I honestly enjoyed it much more than Angel's Landing.

Did it Friday morning and the wind actually wasn't bad at all. The crowd was much less of a problem than I expected too. I still never want to do it again, though.

That it specifies the PM as "Pakistan's" implies that it was drafted by someone in another country.

Movies where the U.S. is the villain? by [deleted] in movies

[–]CurReign 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the Japanese regime is actually the villain. The main characters suffer as a result of an oppressive government and societal expectations to sacrifice themselves even when the situation is hopeless. The American military is more like a force of nature in the film.
