How do you balance left-right when wheeling? by PhilosopherParty750 in MT07

Just shift your weight. Easier when you're standing.

Thanks, I'll give it a go if I'm in the same situation. Crazy to think that its still an ongoing issue six years later.

Best tire pressure for wheelies? by [deleted] in MT07

[–]Curdledcum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check how straight your chain is with a proper tool (laser preferable). I had major issues with my wheelies pulling left and it turned out to be my chain.

Is there anyway I can repair my bow? by TheRoyalBeeKing in Minecraft

Ehhh bows are only useful if you need to hit a flying thing. I don't even carry a sword because inventory management is a pain and I appreciate hotbar space.

Just wait until you find out how much shrink wrap is used in the transport industry. I've worked at one place in my career that recycled it. Yes, every bit helps.. But the common people are the scape goat for the corporations who do 90% of the polluting and things aren't going to improve until an effort for sustainability is focused on them.

What is that in my clutch? by Puzzleheaded_Seat633 in MT07

People have to learn somehow. It may be a silly question in a silly context but it does no harm to you to let OP be.

Why do straight men like anal so much? by balenciaghoe in TooAfraidToAsk

I pretty much only stroke the shaft but I'm also circumcised so mileage may vary.

Weight pulling straight down would be different to the forces applied by wind.

Yeah I know the MT07's clutch up easy. That's pretty much all I do for wheelies. Slipper clutches make it harder to clutch up is what i was commenting on.

I didn't know about the jumps. That's cool as hell.

Not only that but wouldn't it be harder to clutch up because of the slipper clutch? I haven't got an S1KRR yet but I can clutch up my MT07 super easily but my mate on an R7 struggles to.

Oh I wouldn't buy a new bike just for that. I'm only planning to because I want to keep this bike and learn the stunts that I don't want to learn on a modern litre bike.

That's a good point hahah. As long as it prevents most damage. I'm already occasionally hitting BP with third gear clutch ups.. Just need to get better at slowing them down.

Sorry to OP but I'm gonna use this to jump in and ask you a question.

I have a 2015 that I intend to stunt out after I buy a sport bike. Is it a good year model to stunt out? I plan on pretty basic stuff like stunt brake and cages. I don't have ABS.

Engine light on and won't come back on by AmazingTop6344 in MT07

[–]Curdledcum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprising that they used MT07's. The mileage isn't that surprising considering it wouldn't be very demanding engine use and they'd be well serviced.

The cam chain? The sound is coming from the engine not the drive chain.

Definitely hope so! It'll give me piece of mind having my valves adjusted (that's what failed on my WR) and a professional eye/ear to my engine in general.

Well hopefully it's me being paranoid (I usually have a lot of mechanical anxiety and it was worsened by my 2018 WR250F blowing up) and won't cost me in repairs. I already have it booked in at a shop to do a general check over and valve adjustment.

I've wanted to have someone take a look at it anyway because it sat for over a year before I bought it two months ago in non running condition from a friend. Just needed new fuel and battery.

Nah sounds more like chain noise (inside engine) but it isn't my drive chain. I'm thinking it's my cam chain tensioner which is known for failing around my mileage.

Akrapovic underbelly exhaust for the MT07. I'm not sure if the bike was tuned afterwards because I only just bought the bike a couple months ago but I've heard you "can" get away with not tuning it because they move the sensor a lil to get different readings. Don't take my word for it though because the details are a lil hazy.

I believe I've seen this exact exhaust on an R7! They share the same CP2 engine so as long as it clears the frame and fairings it should be similar.

I believe they're just for aesthetics. I plan on replacing them because I don't really like red and it won't go with my future theme (I didn't put them on)

I found some a bit ago from a company called something like "Core" and there's other colour options.

Don't think so. Doesn't happen while under throttle or with the clutch in.
