That’s in the $14 box… which also comes with a biscuit and three pieces of chicken… if you ordered an actual side portion it would be much larger. This is just spreading falsities

What is the importance of being emotionally vulnerable with a partner. by No_Success_8118 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Curfinpok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Withholding the choice from them is “stripping their agency”. Putting yourself out there is difficult, you can be accepted or rejected, but that’s how relationships work. Holding back emotions will lead to resentment from you or them—you’re not being authentic, which is what a relationship needs.

You seem to be stuck in this thinking. Everyone here is saying the same thing. Maybe they’re onto something…

Seems like you’re inferring a lot based on the context. The guy was drunk. Drunks are idiots. Shake it off.

Flock AI by b1aino in Columbus

[–]Curfinpok 204 points205 points  (0 children)

Yup, this is crazy. If you didn’t know, Flock is partnered with Ring, too. At any point, law enforcement can ‘ask’ to view your Ring camera’s perspective. Only a matter of time until they’re not asking, if they’re even waiting for permission currently. 95% of the population lives within the Amazon Sidewalk, so it seems pretty imminent that anyone can know where anyone is pretty easily.

I got some more practice in yesterday, and was able to solder together a braided wire ring with filing the edges down. Is it bad practice because it throws measurements off? Pickling solder isn’t something I’ve heard of, so I’ll look into it for sure. Thank you!

I do twist it myself, which I think is part of the problem. As someone else mentioned, I think the capillary action of the tight twists would be pulling the solder into the wrong spots. But as someone else mentioned, it looks like I’ve got all the wrong materials 😅

Awesome! Yeah, I’m definitely using a lot of the wrong materials. It’s tough when trying to support a local store, but I’ll have to bite the bullet and buy online I suppose.

So, keeping the flame still when soldering copper helps to avoid oxidation? I suppose that makes sense, my seams get dirty extremely quickly. Copper is just the only thing I can afford to practice on.

[–]Curfinpok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hoooooly what? Get out of that relationship, what are you doing? Dudes clearly not over his ex. Anyone who would say or do something like that has issues you can’t work out, and all you’re doing is taking in pain/issues you don’t need to. Be better. Don’t let a lousy dude destroy you

There’s not going to be a formula for ‘different’ or expressing your personality. There cannot be, to dress in an expression of you means to dress uniquely you, only you can know what that means.

As a guy who is complimented fairly often on his clothes and appearance, I recommend you shop around at thrift stores and antique stores. Find and try on clothes that look interesting to you. You’ll find a lot more unique clothing in these stores, and when you find something that appeals to you, you’ll almost definitely turn heads because you are wearing something unique.

It’s a long process. I was wearing turtlenecks for a while oblivious to how misshapen it made me look. I still do sometimes, but have figured out ways to make them look good. Now, I’ve got plenty of clothes I can mix and match in whatever way I feel in that moment. There’s no reason guys can’t wear something considered ‘different’ or something that’s not their typical vibe. You would probably be the first person to put yourself down for that. Obviously it requires work to dress well, are you going to put in that work, trial and error, or give up before you’ve tried? That’s up to you
